So on Sunday, April 14, 2024 I was going through my emails and I saw that I got a newsletter from the Glendale Library. I was scrolling through it and saw an ad for a Teen Book Box. I have always wanted to do this, but I am obviously not a teen, but I know someone who is. My little sister Ale!

I asked her how old she is and she said that she is eighteen. Then I asked her if I can sign her up for this teen book box, and she said yes! I have asked her before, but she said no. I was surprised when she agreed, but I am all the more pleased she did so. Below you will find the email confirmation. I have whitened out the emails and staff names.
I told Ale to forward all of the emails to me so I can make a blog post about it, this being the said blog post. There was an option in the form to put my email in there, but I thought that it would have been easier to put the actual teen's email in there instead. Mainly so I wouldn't get in trouble.
So the Teen Book Box was ready on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. I thought that it would be ready by Monday of next week, but they work fast! Maybe not many Glendale teens are requesting them? Ale surprised me with the news! I was really surprised and excited! She said that she got the email while she was waiting for her Starbucks and drove to the library on her way back from ASU West. She didn't tell me until she got home. I took pictures of everything that came in the Teen Book Box. I was expecting a literal box, but it actually came in a blue tote bag that Ale can now use for her Glendale library book bag if she so chooses.
A third book came in the bag, but I am currently reading it and will update this blog post when I am done reading that book.
