My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I finished reading this book on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 12:43 p.m. I skipped some stories and didn't finish others. I would say I read about half of the stories in here. It was a fun enough read.

I wanted to read this book ever since I read the first book Girls' Night Out. I liked the book cover and I need another Chick-Lit book in my life lol. So I requested it at the Glendale library because they were the only one who had it. I requested it to go to the Main Library branch because I wanted to get the new Summer Reading goodies. I got my held book and got a new bookmark! Then I went to drop off the Sarah Dessen audiobook CD to the nearest Phoenix library branch before heading off to work. So I am excited to read these stories!
* The receipt I got for this book said that I just saved $16.95 by using my library. This past year I have saved $276.88! Since I began using the Glendale library I have saved $544.81! Wow! π±
* The Cat Lady story wedding was quick lolz. That's probably why it's a short story. It's like those two were made for each other.
“Sometimes I’m just sure you never really know anyone” (90).
* The Revenge story was like a little action packed novel! It really captivated my attention.
* Know It All Story: I was really interested in that story. I like that the main character (Shaun) finally let go of her ex and introduced the redhead to him since they were always meant to meet each other.
* In Agony Story: Damn! That was a twisted ending! Finding out Jane's husband is cheating on her through her work mail! Wow! That was some good writing.
“...filling up shopping carts for a family she no longer had to feed” (227).
This quote is where a character is talking about their mother, and reading it just made me sad…
* The Siren Song story is about a guy going through heartbreak and while he's in the bath he hears songs being sung. One of the songs is "Black Coffee" by Peggy Lee and I think that the lyrics to that song are perfectly suited to his situation. Then afterwards, he sits outside holding a coffee! Wow!! Lolz! XD ☕️
* Acting Strangely: I think that I am liking this story and it's the last one! Wow! =O
