Book Empathy

Reading books make me learn to be empathetic because I can try to relate to the character's situation. For example, my Dad's cousin just died recently and I said "it's okay" to him and that is not something I normally do. His shirt was wet. I put my hand on his shoulder and said it. Another example is when I was watching my new favorite show called Sex and the City. In this particular episode Miranda's mother died and the girls went to the funeral and Samantha finally showed some emotion for her friend. She isn't one to show emotion like sadness and to see her say she is sorry for her friend literally made me tear up and cry. I went awwww.
