Hello and welcome to my reading web log! This blog is my reading journey. Here you can find my book reviews, anything related to books, and even some of my original writing. Keep going down for posts and don't forget to look around the blog. Thank you! (this blog is best viewed in desktop mode/web version)
Some buttons that were in the bag! The website didn't say that they would be in there, so I love that!
A tumbler, but with no straw! XD
A lanyard.
A free book!!
A pencil! It has such a beautiful design! <3
There was lots of tissue paper in the bag when I got it, so I used it to customize one of my other journals. I also used their kid's newspaper for the first layer.
I just got a voicemail this morning (Thursday, 2/2/23 at 8:44 a.m.) saying that I won week 7 (week of 1/23/23 - 1/29/23) raffle drawing swag bag for the Winter Reading Program! 🎉 It's ready for pick up at my convenience! The program takes place in the Maricopa County Library District. I chose the Fountain Hills Library (12901 N. La Montana Dr., Fountain Hills, AZ 85268) because I thought it was the one in Glendale, but I was confused with the names. The one in Glendale is called Foothills Library and I thought that was the same library as Fountain Hills for some reason. To travel there with highways it takes 52 minutes. I never thought that I would win in this program. My first time participating was just last year. The Winter Reading Program for adults website says, "Library swag bag- swag items like a lanyard, pencil, tumbler and a free book." I won this by entering at least 60 minutes of reading a week and I was automatically entered in to win one of their fun weekly drawing prizes.
On Saturday, February 4, 2023 I went to Fountain Hills Library in Fountain Hills, Arizona. I got my library swag bag! It had a pencil, a lanyard, a tumbler, and a free book (Wild and Wicked Things by Francesca May). I saw this craft thing and I wanted to try it. Plus, I got 4 buttons for the swag bag. There was cute tissue paper in the bag.
This is the craft thing I tried and it's so cute! LOL XD
Just showing off my use of this library cup with water inside and Ale's reusable ice cubes
